My baby's birth-day! At our last doctor appointment we were told we had the option to induce one week before the due date (which was July 27th). I knew instantly that I wanted to! We were so excited to call our immediate families to tell them the birth-date of their new niece/grand-daughter. So we set the date and called the hospital to get the details. We woke up at 5 a.m. to be at the hospital at 6 a.m. Lilly was born that day at 5:13 p.m. at 5 lbs 14 oz and 18.5 inches long!

My sister and her boyfriend are both conveniently professional photographers. These photographs were taken only three days before my daughter Lilly was born. 


I was so pleased with how beautiful the pictures turned out - because if you've ever been pregnant before, you know how unattractive you often feel!

At First Sight

David and I met at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. We lived in the same dorm during our first semester and hit it off instantly! Never had I met anyone as charming and silly as David. I was amazed at how much we had in common.

And if you can't tell, David kept me VERY busy with all the fun activities we were involved in!

The Beginning

We are the Martins! This year has been so exciting for my new little family. My husband, David, and I were married on the beautiful morning of March 5th and I'm proud to say we are still head-over-heals in love. On July 21st, two became three when I gave birth to a sweet baby girl - Lillian Malia Martin. Our family currently lives in Orem, Utah where David works and I am privileged enough to be a homemaker. Here is our story :)
